Corvus Community Protection Initiative

The Corvus Community Protection Initiative, or CCPI, is our commitment to donating 10% of annual engineering time to nonprofits and humanitarian organizations that need cybersecurity and IT support.

The Corvus Community Protection Initiative is intended for nonprofits, humanitarian organizations, and community focused groups that need reliable IT or cybersecurity help but may not have the budget for ongoing managed services.

This may include organizations supporting:

Veterans
Housing and homelessness services
Domestic violence survivors
Refugees and immigrants
Mental health and crisis support
Youth and family services
Humanitarian aid
Community safety and outreach programs

The focus is on organizations doing meaningful work that need practical technical support to protect their staff, systems, and the people they serve.

Who This Initiative Supports

Through the Corvus Community Protection Initiative, Corvus provides practical IT and cybersecurity assistance to nonprofits and humanitarian organizations that need help strengthening their technology environment.

Support may include Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace reviews, account security checks, MFA guidance, email security recommendations, endpoint protection review, backup and recovery review, basic cybersecurity assessments, documentation cleanup, and general security guidance.

The focus is on helping organizations understand where they may be exposed, what needs attention first, and what realistic steps they can take to better protect their staff, data, and the people they serve.

What This Initiative Is Not

The Corvus Community Protection Initiative is not intended to replace a full managed IT provider, emergency response service, or unlimited ongoing support agreement.

CCPI support is limited by annual availability and is reviewed on a case by case basis. It is designed for focused assistance, guidance, reviews, and defined projects where Corvus can provide meaningful help within a reasonable scope.

This initiative does not include 24/7 emergency support, unlimited helpdesk coverage, guaranteed response times, full infrastructure management, or ongoing managed services unless a separate agreement is established.

The purpose is to provide real, practical support while keeping the program sustainable.

How To Request Support

Organizations interested in support through the Corvus Community Protection Initiative can submit a request using the contact form below.

Please include your organization name, mission, location, the type of help you are looking for, and any urgent concerns you are currently facing.

Once received, Corvus will review the request and determine whether it fits the scope and availability of the initiative. If there is a good fit, the next step will be a short conversation to better understand your environment, priorities, and what support would be most useful.
